Sunday at East Coast we had the honor of dedicating three babies to Christ: Noah Brunson, Kate Chastain, and Drew Galaska. Dedicating a child to Christ is a serious matter that comes with great commitment. It was one of the BEST services we have ever had! Here are a few highlights from the message:
- God is sovereign, were not
- We want yesterday what takes years to happen
- You may be discouraged, but you’re not done
- God wants us to run TO Him in our distress, not run FROM Him
- Hannah fully surrendered, then faithfully waited.
- God puts His hand on that which we take ours off of
- Hannah open handedly surrendered her child to God
- God does BIG THINGS with SURRENDERED THINGS
One of my favorite Sundays by far. It was a joy to see these families come together before God and dedicate their children to Christ! We had more people show up than anticipated. I had to jump off stage to address everyone. One of my favorite things about this day was getting to pray for these babies by name, face to face. It’s amazing to think what God is going to do with these children! It was truly a great day. My gratitude goes to the families who came to support these children and to our volunteers for creating an unforgetable experience for all of us.
