Tornado Tithe Challenge: THIS SUNDAY!

East Coast,

You’ve heard it all over the news. Last week, a deadly storm ripped through the southeast, claiming hundreds of lives and causing unthinkable damage and destruction. Its been reported that there are one million people without power…

Our vision is to BUILD A BRIDGE & BRING A VOICE. Sunday we have an opportunity to put feet to that vision. There’s a huge problem and YOU can be a part of the solution.  People need our help, not our pity.   Feeling sorry for families who don’t have a place to live isn’t going to do any good.

We’re partnering with a church on the ground, and working with churches all over the country to provide immediate relief to people who have lost everything.  We’re talking about providing diapers for children, clothes for men and women, and groceries for families.  We’re providing for people’s basic needs in Jesus’ name.  We’re BEING the church. Were BUILDING A BRIDGE…

Here’s what I NEED you to do:

1. Come to church this Sunday on Mother’s Day prepared to give.  This weekend, we’re designating 20% of our entire offering to help tornado victims in Alabama.

2. If you can’t give this weekend, you can make a donation right now.  Here’s the link and 100% of your donation will go directly to tornado victims. In the add special instructions spot, write in tornado relief.

East Coast, most of us have families, most of us will have dinner tonight, most of us have a place to eat it. Most people who’ve been affected by the tornadoes – don’t… Lets do more than listen to a sermon and sing, let’s make a difference in someone’s life who has lost it all. Come prepared to give this weekend!

See you Sunday!

Pastor Kevin
