Friday night East Coast participated in Holiday Magic. We set up for free hot cocoa, free coffee, and brought a helium tank to give out some Christmas balloons to kids. The hot cocoa & balloons were a hit. After 275 balloons we ran out of helium. It took a lot to pull everything together. South Side did a great job organizing it all & I have to personally thank the East Coast volunteers for giving of their time to set up, clean up, and to tie balloons with freezing fingers.
We were expecting 800 to 1000 people. Realistically, 3000-4000 showed up! We had a great night connecting with tons of people. Thank you for helping us build a bridge with the community!
